In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first ever gig was Gorillaz in 2010 at the O2 Arena. It was the first time they performed without the avatars and they brought out everyone from Kano to MF DOOM. I was hooked. It always wins the best first gig debates. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mount Kimbie, Crooks & Lovers XXXTENTACION, 17 dné, These Semi Feelings, They Are Everywhere 17 changed my trajectory as a human. X is my biggest inspiration and the reason I pursued this path. These Semi Feelings is one of the most beautiful albums ever recorded. Mount Kimbie are geniuses and always leave me in awe of their creativity. This song will forever have a special place in my heart. I made the song and video in 24 hours, it was catharsis. The song is a relic of that moment in my life, a time filled with uncertainty and doubt. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the JBL Martin Garrix Music Academy! I am the UK winner and 1 of only 30 artists selected worldwide. They flew me to Amsterdam to work alongside Martin Garrix and industry legends in STAMPD Studios. A truly unforgettable experience.
