In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is listening to the music my Mom liked while in the car. She liked singer-songwriters like Paul Simon and James Taylor. I think that's where the seeds were planted for my love of great songwriting. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan Hank Williams, 20 of Hank Williams' Greatest Hits Johnny Cash, Johnny Cash At Sun These three albums all contributed to my love for simple but powerful songwriting rooted in the American folk and country traditions. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing a club in Austin, TX, called The Hole in the Wall, which is a stage where one of my biggest influences played - Townes Van Zandt.
