In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in a household that listened to Michael Jackson. My mum was such a massive fan of his work. And so I wanted to be like him, to move people with my voice, with my words, to sway emotions. That's where my love for music began. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP Justin Timberlake, FutureSex/LoveSounds (Deluxe Edition) Michael Jackson, Invincible To be honest any album from Michael Jackson, Eminem and Justin Timberlake are instant classics in my book. Their music inspired mine; I drew influences from their work. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Promise Land” Promise Land, to me, is about acknowledging that you deserve to be in a better place. It's a song that says "I've paid my dues" and now it's my turn to fly. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Collaborating with UNICEF Canada, whereby all profits from my song 'What's Going On' went to their initiatives to help children in need of aid around the world, that is one the highlights of my career, being able to use my voice for positive change. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's always something left, that's the thing about life, there's always a new adventure to embark on. But one of my dreams is to one day collaborate with Eminem.
