The Yummy Fur

Together for about seven years in the 1990s, Glaswegian indie-pop band the Yummy Fur (named after a popular adult comic) are now more widely known as the band that featured future members of Franz Ferdinand (drummer Paul Thomson and singer Alex Kapranos) and 1990s (singer John McKeown). On four albums and several singles, the band explored spirited, thoughtful art-punk, with a hint of retro new wave flavor.
