Gaidaa's conversational, easygoing approach to modern R&B is suited to layered electronic production and acoustic settings alike. The Sudanese-Dutch artist made an auspicious debut in 2018 with the Full Crate collaboration "A Storm on a Summers Day," a romantic single that surpassed well over ten million streams within a few years. She self-released Overture, a 2020 EP that boasted input from Saba and Jarreau Vandal, and has gone on to issue a handful of singles, such as 2024's "Runaway and Rolling," while being sought by the likes of Moby ("Transit") and Maribou State ("Bloom").
