In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. After watching *Sister Act 2* and hearing “O Happy Day,” I instantly felt inspired to sing. Though I’d never sung before, weeks later I performed at a small church. Eyes closed, I felt pure joy—and knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. He battled addiction most of my life. While writing in Nashville with friends, we shared about our fathers, and the song poured out. Today, he’s six years sober. The God of second chances. Won’t He do it! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2022, we recorded my first live record at a venue in Houston. With just three and a half weeks to promote, I had no idea who would come. It packed out with LINES out the door. Blew me away. The energy in the room made it a truly special moment.
