Maddie Ashman

London-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Maddie Ashman challenges the conventions of pop music, often playing cello and exploring just intonation, or pure tuning. Following early releases such as the 2022 installation score Through the Motions, she received attention for the avant-folk EP otherworld in 2025. She then released the microtonal pop EP Her Side in 2026.
