A mix of Benga and Nairobi hip hop played. I didn’t understand it all, but it moved me. That moment sparked my love for music and made me dream of telling my own story. Tell us why you chose this song. “Saint John” This song is very special to me because I am talking about my late father in this song. He was a great man, a man I am not yet able to fit in his shoes. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career is being able to share the stage with big names like Snoop Dogg in Benarbue, Spain and Diamond Platnumz in Kisumu, Kenya. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would still like to be the first musician from Kisumu, Kenyan to bring home the Grammy awards for the best rap song of the year and yes I am coming for it.
