In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. one of my best childhood friends and I teaching other how to play the guitar and bass in his basement! we spent hours jamming, improvising, and trying to record an ep! one day we'll put it out :) What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alina Baraz, Galimatias, Urban Flora Bonobo, Black Sands Skrillex, Bangarang each of these albums take me back to a pivotal time in life - the bangarang era was when i first started going to raves and immersing myself in electronic music. urban flora showed me the chill side of electronic... black sands is simply perfection. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nostalgia” my first track. the melody came to me while i was half awake, trying to fall asleep, some night my senior year of college. hopped up, hit record, and here we are. oddly blew up which was a pleasant surprise. still love playing this one. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? my first release, 'nostalgia', went viral after it was picked up by animevibe. outside of the completely unexpected stream numbers, the number of comments about how the song resonated and impacted people still touches - and inspires - me today. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? many things! i would love to support (or headline) a tour and work in the studio with bonobo.
