Tony Aguirre

A Mexican regional singer and songwriter hailing from Obregón, Sonora, Tony Aguirre first made his mark as a writer for other artists, including heavy hitters such as Peso Pluma, Grupo Firme, Luis R Conriquez, and Panter Bélico. In the early 2020s he also began to develop a career as a solo artist, releasing several live and studio albums as well as a plethora of singles. Unsurprisingly, his biggest hits came in the shape of collaborations with major stars, chief among these Luis R Conriquez's "El Gavilán" (also featuring Peso Pluma), Xavi's “Modo DND,” and "Malas Rachas” (featuring Los Dareyes de la Sierra and Luis R Conriquez). Aguirre returned in 2025 with Censurado, his first proper full-length in three years.
