About LOWER MARS

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I love to create landscapes within my music. Safe spaces for queers, for those who can't find their place anywhere. When i'm tracing my songs i love to see those places that can be tunnels, bright worlds and the darkest dungeons. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Caroline Polachek, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You Kate Bush, The Dreaming (2018 Remaster) Susumu Hirasawa, Symphonic Code Susumu Hirasawa Instrumental Music: The Polydor Years I love hearing the power from this albums. Pretty different and in a gradual type of power. Caroline transmits a beautiful forest, Charli the intimacy in a non-stop world and Dorian such a brutal and raw tenderness to the queer. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Read My Hand” This song is a ironic piece on "being famous" and the desire of beneath it. In Read My Hand i can truly find the piece of me i wanna be, the one that i would love the be recognise about. The power of the instrumentals, the magicness. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think it was preparing with my boyfriend the whole marketing experience for Lower Mars. Telling everyone i had just launched my latest work and i wanted to be heard. Overall, i've made a lot of gigs, but the most memorable was preparing them. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's a lot. I'm preparing a new LP that will be the most conceptual piece i've made so far. I want to even prepare a type of "opera" or "theatre" for a concert, and make a concert/theatre with the songs, i'm getting ambitious.
