In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have a vivid memory as a young girl jamming out to Mariah Carey's "I've Been Thinking About You" off her Music Box album. My uncle walked in with one of those big 90's cameras while I sang and danced around the room. I thought I was her haha What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alicia Keys, Songs In A Minor Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city Mariah Carey, Butterfly I could provide a thesis for each album honestly but to keep it light, these taught me about the art of storytelling. I love when a song or album creates an entire universe that plucks you right out of reality and into the art. These albums do that. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting the co-sign from some of my biggest inspirations like Erykah Badu, Tank, and Bryan-Michael Cox has been surreal. These gentle nods feel like reminders that I’m right where I’m meant to be.
