Zzzahara makes detailed, melodic indie rock that flits between shoegaze, post-punk, and dream pop. The Los Angeles native first gained attention alongside Eyedress as one half of indie duo the Simps. 2022 proved a pivotal year for Zzzahara, who released their solo debut, Liminal Spaces, just eight months after the Simps' first full-length. Both came out on U.K. indie Lex Records. Zzzahara returned a year later with their layered and deeply introspective sophomore LP, Tender.
