In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory would be when I was a toddler and my grandmother would clean up around the house. She would always put on the likes of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire and The Temptations. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, COWBOY CARTER Logic, The Incredible True Story Michael Jackson, Thriller These album are top tier when it comes to concept, context and execution. They are my north stars! Tell us why you chose this song. “MY SHIT” This song is very special to me because I wrote it at a time where I need to take my power and my voice back. It's an anthem of confidence and a reminder that I know what I'm doing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first time performing I Don't Really Know, the crowd started singing the hook back to me. I was shocked but also in awe because the song resonated so much with them. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have got to work with Beyoncé in some form or fashion. Even if it's just her giving me advice on a song or project. She is the GOAT and what she touches turns to gold! Praying for that day.
