In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I first heard Gene Vincent and the Johnny Burnette Trio, it hit me like lightning. The raw yet elegant rockabilly sound, the slap bass energy — it all grabbed me. That’s when I knew I wanted to play double bass and learn everything by ear. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gene Vincent, The Very Best of Gene Vincent Johnny Burnette Trio, Honey Hush - Single The Clash, London Calling These three records sparked my musical journey. They made me want to play double bass and take my music around the world. They blend pure rockabilly, raw rock’n’roll, and punk rebellion — showing me that music is energy, freedom, and emotion. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most powerful moments in my career was a trip to Colombia with “The Train of Fire and Ice,” a convoy giving free shows in stations and indigenous lands. I played with two bands and felt the real power of music and human connection. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still have so many projects ahead! First to keep making music it’s my passion and my reason to live. And to keep traveling meeting people learning. Music has shown me the world, and life stays beautiful as long as curiosity and rhythm guide the way
