In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was six years old I played an old beat up, 3-stringed bass guitar I found in the closet. I would listen to my dad's music on the stereo and play (very badly). What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kings of Leon, Only By the Night (Deluxe) Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blood Sugar Sex Magik Frusciante's funky guitar, Kiedis' poetry weaving the song together over Chad Smith's solid beats... I can listen to BSSM every day. Dark Side of the Moon took me on a journey first when I was 18 in college. Only By the Night was iconic, What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The time I climbed on top of a building at SXSW in Austin, TX in 2019 and played guitar behind my head with the crowd cheering.
