In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is waking up to my mother making breakfast while La Bamba played on the TV. Looking back, it's one of the first times music felt tied to comfort and home. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? James Brown, James Brown Live At The Apollo, 1962 Julie London, Julie Is Her Name MC5, Kick Out the Jams I find myself coming back to Julie is Her name. I never get tired of it. My top albums are ever changing but lately I find myself coming back to live recordings. I feel as though the sound of the audience is an instrument in the records. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Memory Lane” I feel as though I had finally found my sound. It inspired me to continue pursuing it. It was the first song I released that was completely me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was hearing people sing along to my song. It was the first time I realized the music had traveled beyond me and become something others connected to in their own way. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's still a lot on my bucket list but at the top is continuing to build a community around the music and playing shows where the connection feels real. I want to keep growing in a way that feels honest.
