Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Deluxe Edition (Explicit)) MBDTF, possibly the greatest rap album of all-time. 2014FHD, storytelling is next level. Tell us why you chose this song. “SEEDS” We came together in tribute to the resistance of the people from our region. Szaba, as a native of that specific place, is close to the pain. As a neighbour, I too feel this pain, so it was a proud moment to come together in a message of resistance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first live performance, as an opening act at a festival back home in Lebanon, was in front of 1000 people. It was a dive in the deep end and I loved it, couldn't get enough of it. The high I got was unlike anything I'd ever felt. Instantly hooked. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My goal is focus on my experience in this artistic realm, enjoying the art of mastering my craft, creating songs that capture moments, and making people *feel* something. The awards will just be something to keep score.
