Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeff Buckley, Grace Nick Drake, Five Leaves Left (Remastered) Pulp, Different Class Grace by Jeff Buckley for its undiluted passion and romance. Different Class by Pulp for the way it captures the awkward coming-of-age experience. Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake simply for its purity, beauty and endless inspiration. Tell us why you chose this song. “Father of Two” Father of Two is a song I wrote for my dad and I’m really proud of it. Lyrically I think it captures our relationship perfectly, but it’s extra special because I included a recording I found of me and him talking when I was about three years old. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Headlining London’s Union Chapel last year was amazing and a huge milestone moment. It had always been my dream venue, and I even had a surprise choir for the last song. I cried the minute I got off stage, which has never happened before. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to write or work on a soundtrack for a film and create something really cinematic and orchestral. It would be a step outside my comfort zone and I think it would be a wonderful experience to create something on that scale.
