My brother's father would always blast DMX on our car rides and I fell in love with the entire Ruff Ryder crew because of him. Eve's video for "Love is Blind" sparked ideas in my head of writing music that touched me and that others could relate to. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, All Eyez On Me Beyoncé, Dangerously in Love JAŸ-Z, The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse These three albums amongst so many others stayed on repeat as a kid growing up. These are timeless records that I can listen to from start to finish with no skips by Black American artists who've inspired and paved the way for people like myself. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mortality” This song is one of my all-time favorites because it was written from three perspectives, it's a humbling yet powerful message, and the energy I feel as I listen to it radiates throughout my body.
