Candela Gomez

Candela Gómez is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Alicante, Spain. Gómez first attracted attention in 2022 when, barely in her mid-teens, she appeared on the popular TV contest Got Talent performing her own song "no es q no te quiera." The song went viral, as did her feature on Paula Koops' "Mejores Amigos," which encouraged Gómez to move to Madrid as soon as she turned 18 to become a professional musician. Produced by Fernando Boix, her debut EP, Colirio (2024), showcased a young artist developing her own brand of bedroom pop, alternating between acoustic intimacy and distorted grunge-pop outbursts and using lyric writing as a kind of self-therapy, inspired by the likes of Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo. Gómez continued honing her craft over a dozen more singles and a string of festival appearances before releasing her first full-length, Oversize, in early 2026.
