In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was so lucky. My family was very musical - dad played guitar & banjo, mom played piano, sis played recorder and I played drums. We would often play music together for random fun. I learned piano but was REALLY into the drums. Music makes life! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Björk, Vespertine Carole King, Tapestry Milt Jackson, Ray Brown, Ray Brown/Milt Jackson There's no way to pick 3 albums, but I listened to Tapestry so often that I could play and sing the whole thing, without ever practicing. Vespertine is incredible. And Milt Jackson was my biggest vibes hero, along with many others of course. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dear Old Friend (feat. Charlie Hunter & Simon Lott)” This is in memory of a childhood friend..this recording was very powerful to me - Charlie Hunter was a great producer, and he helped me get a 'songwriter' vibe to the recording. The electric vibes are haunting, and heavenly at the end, like a choir.
