In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up with a dancer mother, music and movement were in my DNA. I played cavaquinho as a child, fascinated by how music could express and transform emotions. That duality—expression and transformation—became the foundation of my art today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Don Kikas, Xeque-Mate Dua Lipa, Levitating (feat. DaBaby) - Single Zen Eyer, Baila Flaquita - Single My listening evolves with my creative process. Anitta showed how to build sonic identity without losing versatility. Kizomba taught sensuality is tension and release, not just BPM. Green Day showed contrasting sad lyrics with upbeat energy. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing international festivals and seeing dancers from different cultures connect through the same beat. When the dance floor becomes a universal language—people moving as one. That's when I realized my music transcends borders. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Expand global reach of Brazilian Zouk while preserving its soul. Collaborate across genres to show Zouk is a lifestyle of connection. Build a community where dancers understand: quality, emotion, and authenticity transcend everything.
