Killerpilze

German pop-punk outfit Killerpilze (Killer Fungus) formed in Wertigen. Singer/guitarist Johannes Halbig assembled the original lineup, enlisting brother Fabian to play drums before recruiting lead guitarist Max Schlichter and bassist Andreas Schlagenhaft. Killerpilze issued its debut LP, Van Vome Durch Sie Punkallee, in 2004. Invasion der Killerpilze followed two years later, and included the hit single "Richtig Scheiße." ~ Jason Ankeny
