MC Ryan SP

Better known as MC Ryan SP, Ryan Santana dos Santos is a Brazilian funk rapper, songwriter, and label founder. Born in 2001 in São Paulo, he began freestyling as a teen and made his first video at 13. He broke out during the 2020 pandemic with "Vergonha Pra Mídia," addressing social inequality. Ryan balances funk consciente, focused on violence and prejudice, with the more aspirational funk proibidão. A central figure in São Paulo’s funk scene, he released over 400 singles between 2019 and 2026, along with albums including Lágrimas Do Tubarão (2021) and Um Toque De Malandragem (2023). In 2025, he founded Bololô Records and led the hit "Posso Até Não Te Dar Flores."
