The Hired Guns

With their lyrical dealings sour love, broken hearts and hard liquor hangovers, The Hired Guns give off an apparent influence of classic country. On top of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and The Byrds providing an addition of rock into their sound, Adam Kyle (vocals/ Guitar), Chris Willard (vocals/ guitar), Anthony Paine (bass) and David Cheese (drums) got together in 1996 to bring on their melancholy, whisky-soaked grit to their native Sydney, Australia. Steady Cam Records debuted The Hired Guns first release in 1999 with a split EP with The Dearhunters. ~ Mike DaRonco
