About Babehoven

Blending earthy lo-fi folk with abstract poetry and elements of shoegaze and indie rock, Babehoven is the project of singer/songwriter Maya Bon and collaborator Ryan Albert. Based in Hudson, New York, the duo built a strong D.I.Y. following with a series of self-released EPs before signing with the Double Double Whammy label and making their full-length debut with 2022's Light Moving Time. A series of collaborations followed, including a pair of songs with Squirrel Flower. The dreamy "Blue Around You" appeared in 2026.
