In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories has to do with me absolutely BOMBING a classical piano recital. I was incredibly embarrassed, but I think it had to do with a fundamental rejection of wanting to be piano player. I wanted to play guitar and ROCK. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fountains of Wayne, Welcome Interstate Managers Green Day, American Idiot Talking Heads, Speaking In Tongues All of these albums are either fantastically funky and stanky, or incredibly emotionally successful. I think we find ourselves referencing ideas from these albums and groups quite often. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ballroom Ripper” This song came out early in our life as a band on our album "Larry". I've always felt that it most encapsulated the playfulness and vibe of what we strived for. It is an odd blend of indie rock and jazz/swing. There is nothing like it, i love it!
