In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 2003, my brother-in-law came back from the Netherlands with a Tiësto DVD. Until then, music was that moment changed how I felt about it. Watching those performances, the crowds, and the energy, I felt completely hypnotized by electronic music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Armin van Buuren, A State of Trance 1000 - Celebration Mix (Mixed by Armin van Buuren) [DJ Mix] Tiësto, Just Be Yahel, Super Set Just Be by Tiësto for introducing me to the emotional power of electronic music, and Super Set by Yahel for its deep, hypnotic energy. Armin van Buuren’s Imagine also shaped how I think about melody and atmosphere. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “To You” This was my first song to become a hit, a track I worked on entirely on my own and the one where I was able to pour my emotions into the music most honestly. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was when my remix of A Million on My Soul earned me a multi-platinum record and reached listeners around the world. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to keep pushing my sound forward and create music that connects across cultures, while performing it on stages around the world.
