John Summit

Chicago DJ and producer John Summit’s feel-good floor-fillers take the pumping grooves of his hometown’s classic house music, add a healthy dose of melody, and top it all off with 2020s studio polish. Since 2019, the electronic artist has gone from EDM hopeful to festival headliner and label head. After leaving a career in finance, he dove headfirst into music, releasing several singles and notable collaborations—including “Sun Came Up” with SOFI TUKKER—before launching Experts Only, his own imprint, in 2022. He did this all while working towards a perfect balance, one he calls the “best of both worlds,” between songwriting and experimenting in the studio and the adrenaline-fueled pace of the road. In spite of a demanding schedule that could have him playing for thousands at Coachella one weekend and filling a warehouse with a 21-hour dance party the next, he continues to write and push himself to new creative heights while embracing R&B, reggaetón, and more. He released his first album, Comfort in Chaos, in 2024; CTRL ESCAPE, his second, followed in 2026 and features tracks with The Chainsmokers, Feid, Nija, and other hitmakers across various genres.
