In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. From birth, the neon lights on my parents' Wurlitzer jukebox absolutely enthralled me. My favorite song and earliest memory of music is "Baby Likes to Rock It" by The Tractors, along with a ton of '80s & '90s country, classic rock, & '50s '60s rock. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Stapleton, Traveller The Chicks, Fly Tyler Childers, Country Squire Authenticity draws me in more than anything. When artists are true to themselves, their stories, & their sound, that glimpse of their spirit creates a lasting impression on me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ol' George (standard)” As my debut single, it's quite fitting that the song's setting is my hometown in Stanly County, NC. My grade school principal used a wooden paddle on us she named "George," so when I heard Tyler Childers' "Bus Route," I just knew I had to write it.
