Rochy RD

Rochy RD is one of the most prominent Dominican rappers. He began to attract attention in the late 2010s with his mixture of dembow, rap, and reggaeton, his characteristic deep voice, and lyrics that oscillate between the tough realities of life on the streets and the perks of success. A fixture in his native country since 2018 when he released the first two volumes of Wa Wa Wa Pal Mundo Entero, Rochy RD peaked internationally in 2021 with the mega hits "Ella No Es Tuya (Remix)," "Uva Bombom," and a guest role in Amenazzy's "Rápido." 2022 brought further viral success with "Los Illuminaty" (featuring Anuel AA), but also much controversy as he had to face a battery of legal and criminal charges. Ever since then he has concentrated exclusively on singles and collaborations, releasing more than 200 between 2022 and 2025.
