Molina

Molina is Rebecca Maria Stougaard, an Avant-pop producer and songwriter of Danish and Chilean descent. Having taught herself production, Molina developed a style of left-field, hazy, yet danceable electronic pop with many a sonic twist that blended her influences from her multicultural heritage, incorporating strands of Scandinavian dark wave, South American traditions, and even Japanese experimental electronica. Two years after releasing her first single, she went viral in 2018 with the hypnotic "Hey Kids," later included on her sophomore EP Vanilla Shell. Preceded by the singles "Scorpio" and "Organs" (featuring ML Buch), Molina's debut full-length, When You Wake Up, appeared in 2024.
