In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My musical journey began in 2013 when, as a high schooler, I took to the streets of cities across the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, delivering contemporary renditions on cello. It was terrifying, it was exciting, it was liberating. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends ILLENIUM, Ashes OneRepublic, Native (Deluxe) These are my go-to companions through highs and lows of life. They showed me the power of blending strings and melodies in popular music that you normally hear only in classical music. They define emotional resonance and musical timelessness for me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Downtown” "Downtown" holds a special place in my heart, my first song I had written while in the dorms of University of Maryland. It takes you on the emotional rollercoaster of raw love, portrayed through a stirring blend of piano and strings. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing my debut concert at a sold-out Radio City Music Hall alongside Josh Groban in February 2021 was an unforgettable career highlight. It was a privilege to grace such an iconic stage with a renowned artist. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Record a live album at Carnegie Hall with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and an orchestra; perform in a village in Scotland where my dad is from and where I spent many summers getting ideas for music; facilitate a Josh Groban/Joshua Bell collaboration.
