About Prince Navon

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can the first time I performed live. I was confident days prior but 15 mins before the show was nerve-racking. Once I got into my vibe everything became a natural flow. 9 years later no matter how big or small the crowd, I get the same butterflies. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly I was never a really an album kid growing up. I grew towards singles more than albums. As I got older I found “To Pimp a Butterfly” by Kendrick Lamar, and fell in love with that particular body of work, as well as him as an artist. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mike Tyson” “Mike Tyson” was the song that got me moving throughout my city, set up my first couple of shows, I created a lot of dope memories early on in my career. Mike Tyson will forever hold a special place in my heart. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Meeting Alicia Keys. I bumped into her at a studio in LA. Her energy was warming and personable. The last words she left with me were “I’ll see you soon”. Hearing those words felt like a confirmation from God that i’d be going places in my career. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I look forward to collaborating with my Top 3 artist, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu and J. Cole. I want to inspire people to love hard and encourage them to be the best and purest form of themselves.
