Rage Against the Machine brought revolutionary energy, Racionais MC’s gave voice to the reality of Brazil’s streets, and The Selecter showed me the power of ska, unity and anti-racist culture. Tell us why you chose this song. “Planet Is Alive” I chose “Planet Is Alive” because it captures the feeling that the world is collapsing and fighting back at the same time. The song mixes urgency, groove and resistance in a way that feels deeply connected to everything Asfixia Social stands for. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Some of the most memorable moments in our career were playing Goiânia Noise in Brazil and performing at Rebellion Festival in the UK in 2019, 2022 and 2025. Another unforgettable experience was playing Chauffe Dans La Noirceur in France in 2022.
