In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was raised by my father, so during weekends I’d wake up to the sounds of his favorite music. On Saturday’s it would be Luther Vandross and on Sunday’s it would be Jimmy Swaggert or CeCe Winans. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aaliyah, Aaliyah Alicia Keys, As I Am (Expanded Edition) Beyoncé, 4 (Expanded Edition) At age 11 my friend borrowed me the Aaliyah album and my dad allowed me to play it in the car every single day. My older brother gifted me the Alicia Keys Album. The Beyoncé album brings back good memories of my days in university. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Maybe” Maybe is my most vulnerable song. It was challenging and painful to write, but now when I listen to it I realize how much strength it takes to love that deeply, be broken but still remain hopeful even if it means waiting another life time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Receiving the award for Best RnB Artist at the MTN Eswatini Awards and being nominated for Best Female Artist in Southern Africa at the AFRIMA Awards. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to do a world tour. I aspire to be one of the biggest pop RnB artist in the world.
