In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dancing merengue with my cousins in my parent's living room. My dad played the güira with a smile, his rhythm setting the lively tone for the festivities. Surrounded by laughter I felt an overwhelming sense of joy as we all moved to the music.
