In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started playing the drums in church at the age of six. Transitioned into the piano at by the age of 10, which allowed me to start to produce my own instrumentals by 15. Eventually, I started my own in home studio by the age of 17. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory Alicia Keys, The Diary of Alicia Keys Drake, Thank Me Later "The Diary of Alicia Keys", "Thank Me Later" & "The Low End Theory" are my top 3 favorite albums of all time. From instrumentation, to the bars, to the different rhythms and sounds of these albums, it's so authentic. Each artist were in their bag! The song itself was a compilation of different experiences and observations I've made over time about the treatment of black women. I wrote this song with intention of empowering women around the world.
