Anthony Ramos

Anthony Ramos is an actor and singer-songwriter, best known for originating the roles of both John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the hit Broadway musical Hamilton. ∙ Ramos was rehearsing with The Rockettes for a show that was cancelled just before he was cast in Hamilton. ∙ He won his first Grammy Award in 2016 for his contribution to Hamilton: Original Broadway Cast Recording. ∙ In 2019, he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for his work in the film A Star Is Born. ∙ The Good & the Bad, his 2020 debut album, peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
