In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I made my first song to perform it at my university’s frosh week talent show. I ended up winning a TV that I had to take the bus home with. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Dijon, Absolutely Kanye West, Yeezus I love these albums and they kinda serve as north stars to me in my creation process. All 3 are perfect. Yeezus heavily inspired my production choices, Absolutely has some of my favourite songwriting & Voodoo is a spiritual experience every listen. Tell us why you chose this song. “Top Rope” I love this song not only because it’s so amazing but because it’s dedicated to someone who means a lot to me. I wrote it from the perspective of someone who is dating a professional wrestler. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Selling out my first headline show at The Baby G in Toronto is my favourite moment of this lil journey thus far. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Before I'm dead and gone, I need to make a song with Celine Dion.
