Dope Saint Jude

Dope Saint Jude is a rapper and producer with a defiant, life-affirming queer perspective. Taking her name from the Christian apostle, and inspired by rap legend 2Pac as well as Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison and the US Northwest’s iconic Riot Grrrl feminist movement, she crafts songs that address complex socio-economic issues with unassuming Cape Town swagger. She has collaborated with M.I.A. on an H&M fashion campaign, and has toured and lectured across the globe.
