In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing a tiny keyboard that sat on the fireplace in my living room. I was plucking out the melody to “three blind mice” or something, and loved it so much even at a young age. I still love musical discovery just as much as I did then. Tell us why you chose this song. “Grateful For” “Grateful For” is such a special song because it helps me to look up and see all the good things around me. Life is hard AND God is good, and singing “there’s something to be grateful for” reminds me that both things can be true at once. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I’ll never forget the first time I heard a crowd singing my own lyrics back to me. It still blows my mind that people can listen to my music and it can become a part of their own story.
