Brooklyn producer G Mills makes jazzy instrumental hip-hop beats layered with warm tones and the crackle of vinyl to create a relaxing atmosphere. • He played drums in punk and metal bands during high school before moving to making hip-hop beats. • He’s worked on several collaborative projects, including the 2015 EP Bagels and Baguettes with oxela and the five-track 2019 project Amalgam with Goosetaf. • Mills is featured on a tribute to legendary beatmaker J Dilla made with fellow lo-fi producer RudeManners.
