Darrel Walls

An American gospel artist, songwriter, and worship leader, Darrel Walls is best recognized as a member of the Walls Group, a Texas-based sibling quartet delivering gospel-fueled CCM with elements of jazz, R&B, and soul. Darrel rose to prominence as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for the group, which found mainstream success in the early 2010s after inking a deal with Kirk Franklin's Fo Yo Soul label and earning a Grammy nomination for their 2014 debut, Fast Forward. In 2025, Darrel partnered with Grammy-winning producer PJ Morton on Heart of Mine, his debut solo project, which introduced a more intimate, R&B-influenced sound while remaining rooted in themes of personal faith, vulnerability, and worship. The EP earned Walls his first solo Grammy nomination the following year.
