In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I first started learning the guitar at 8 years old, I quickly realised it was something I was naturally good at and I became incredibly locked in; spending hours in my room listening to all my favourite records and figuring them out by ear. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hayley Williams, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party Michael Jackson, Dangerous (Remastered) [Extra Tracks] Steely Dan, Gaucho Steely Dan is my Dad's favourite band; I grew up listening from the womb, Michael Jackson was my first idol and is the greatest artist of all time, Hayley is a long-time contemporary that I've felt connected to since we both started bands at age 15. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at a packed-out Town Hall alongside Lorde, Neil Finn, Supergroove and more for the flood relief concert in '23. Just me, my guitar, and my silly songs that I got such a warm response to. Neil Finn telling me backstage he liked my songs! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm just getting started! I would love to play shows in the UK and Japan. I would love to collaborate and co-write with artists from around the globe on a range of genres. I would love to produce my own music and for others!
