In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I had this toy piano as a toddler and each key played a different classical song. There was one song that was super sad, and I would press it again and again and just cry to it. So melodramatic, but it was my introduction to my love for sad music. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fade to Black and Blue” This is first song I released and the last song on my EP Dark, Vol. I. I remember sitting down one night in my NYC apartment and the lyrics just poured out of me. The whole writing and recording experience was so cathartic and raw. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Filming the music video for my song "Fade to Black and Blue." I had the vision for the music video while writing the song, and it was such a beautiful experience to bring it to life.
