Kepler

While going under the moniker of Kepler, the quartet of Mike Sheridan, Jon Georgekishwatt, Samir Khan, and Weights and Measures drummer Jeremy Gara brought on a mellow, noise-driven indie sound to their native Ottawa. Upon their 1997 formation, Spectra Sonic Sound Records released the band's debut single "Between Still Sheets"/"Can You Steer By Mars?" in 1999. A five song CDEP, This Heart Is Painted On, followed that same year. The half new/half outtakes CD F**k, Fight, Fail was released in 2000. ~ Mike DaRonco
