About Deeman Ohhrite

Atlanta-based rapper/singer Deeman OhhRite started out as a social media personality, posting videos and content to various platforms while always dabbling in music production and releasing his own songs. After uploading multiple original tracks online as early as 2012, the artist's style grew from auto-tuned R&B-styled slow jams to more rap-oriented songs, even jumping on the country-rap bandwagon with his 2019 single "Err (Country Twerk)." Deeman OhhRite was born Deeman Reid in 1997. He started out as an Internet comedian, posting short videos to various online platforms. He also worked on original music, with a focus on theme songs for other Internet personalities and R&B songs of his own. His 2014 track "Blessing Pt. 1" was one of his first songs to gain traction, eventually gathering over two million streams. From there, he would post new material regularly, including singles like "Just a Little" and the more rap-leaning album Slap Crazy in 2017. He offered up the pop/R&B single "Let's Get Spicy" in 2018, and the next year he threw his hat into the country-trap ring with the single "Err (Country Twerk)," a slow-rolling rap song that referenced tractor trailers and farms. ~ Fred Thomas
