AViVA

AViVA began playing violin at age four. ∙ She was a member of indie electronic duo AViVAA in her native Australia, along with musical partner Matais Coulter. ∙ She cites as influences The Smiths, twenty one pilots, Lana Del Rey, Florence + the Machine, YUNGBLUD, Tonight Alive, PVRIS, and Halsey. ∙ She created a young adult fiction series called SELF/LESS, about a dystopian world where art and creative expression are banned. ∙ Her single “Brn” was inspired by paranormal author Tish Thawer’s quote, “We are the granddaughters of the witches you couldn’t burn.”
